Gnome Pincushions
For the last couple of days I've been working on these lighthearted gnome pincushions. They have been really fun to draw and create. I'm not especially a gnome lover but I have enjoyed doing some reading about the history of gnomes in European folklore. They have been around in stories for hundreds of years and are always small, often living underground. They are sometimes guardians of treasure (usually gold) and are thought to be symbols of good luck. My gnomes are quite mischievous, don't let their cute smiles fool you! You can see my gnome pincushions here.
