Union Jack PIncushions

After giving it some thought, I decided to make a batch of Union Jack pincushions before working on something new.  These are very dimensional, with all those layers of felt making up the Tudor Rose in the center, which I like.  I'll be making a batch of three because that is all the red felt I have enough for!  

I have the house to myself this evening so I will continue with my binge watching of really early "X-Files" episodes (I had forgotten how scary some of those are!) and sewing these.

This is the hideaway of choice for one of my cats!  She is behind the pillows on my bed.  Sometimes, if everything is too much for her, she gets inside one of the pillow cases!
