Lakeshore Nature Art

Within a few minutes of finding a good spot for the day on the quiet side of the lake, we saw a bald eagle gliding at treetop height and then an osprey.  We continued to see them throughout the day.  It was such a beautiful day, too lovely to sit still so we made cairns and sculptures with drift wood.  We skipped rocks, waded in the water, not quite brave enough to swim and walked along the shore.  We watched birds, fed ducklings and ate good dark chocolate with nuts in.  It was a day to recharge ourselves.
